Temperature really should be set at a level that you are comfortable with. You have to shower there , we dont.
What's the difference between a tank and a tankless?
A tank water heater is basically like a pot of boiling water , the flame is constantly trying to keep the water hot. A tankless turns on when you turn your hot water on , it knows when water is flowing and lights the heating element. Less gas will be used with a tankless as well.
